| Q. How dose Japan think about the China space activities? Is it a threat or a chance to improve relationship between two countries? |
A. Thank you for your question! As long as I know, Japan regards China as a good rival in terms of outer space activities, not a threat. On the other hand, it is true that international cooperation is always difficult to pursue due to the dual-use nature of space technology. I hope we have common satellite-based "service" that does not cause any tense in export control or technology transfer. |
